The deeper meaning
Pages are where a suit starts learning itself. Among the court cards, the Page is the student: curious, unguarded, not yet sure of anything. In Cups, the suit of feeling, what the Page is learning is her own heart. This is sensitivity before it has been tested, and before it has learned to be careful.
The card often arrives as something small and surprising. A message you didn’t expect. A crush that feels too young for you. A poem you haven’t written, a feeling that turned up in a dream, an idea so tender you don’t want to say it out loud yet. It asks you not to dismiss it just because it’s new.

In the Feya card
Our Page of Cups stands barefoot at the edge of the sea at night, where the waves wash in over dark rocks. She holds a golden cup in both hands, and from it a silver fish has risen, mouth open as if about to speak. She isn’t startled. She looks down at it with a small, private attention, as if she half expected it.
The fish is the Page’s traditional surprise, and in our card it’s the whole story: a feeling that has come up from somewhere deep and wants to be heard. She doesn’t grab it or throw it back. She listens.
Her bare feet are wet with the tide. She’s standing in feeling, not watching it from a safe distance.
Her clothes are loose and moving: a billowing lavender blouse and an olive skirt knotted at the hip, lifting in the wind. Nothing about her is armored yet.
The shells at her feet are the sea’s small gifts, things that washed up without being asked for.
Behind her, a castle stands on the cliffs and two sailboats cross the water under a full moon. The grown-up world, with its walls and voyages, will be there when she’s ready. For now, she’s still on the shore.

In love, the Page of Cups is sweet and a little shy. It often points to a new feeling, a crush, a tender message or an invitation, or to someone who shows their heart easily but isn’t sure yet what to do with it.

Someone may reach out in a small, unexpected way: a message, a compliment, an invitation. Or a feeling may take you by surprise. Let it be light for now. You don’t have to know what it means to enjoy it.
