Dating apps know things about us we’d rather they didn’t. In 2020, Tinder shared data on how different star signs behave on the app, reported by Pedestrian.TV: who matches with whom, who swipes the most, and who takes forever to reply. It’s everything you suspected, confirmed.
Who swipes the most
Scorpio had the highest swipe rate of any sign. Of course they did. Scorpio is thorough, curious and very much researching the options.
Leo was the most likely to swipe right. Leo loves dating, loves being wanted and sees potential in everyone (especially if they’re attractive).
Who’s picky
Gemini was the least likely to swipe right. For the sign everyone calls flirty, that’s a twist, but it makes sense: Gemini wants a great conversation, not just a great photo. Capricorn had the fewest swipes of anyone, right or left. Capricorn is busy. Capricorn is not browsing.
Who replies (and who doesn’t)
Sagittarius messages straight away. No games, no waiting three hours to seem cool. Meanwhile Cancer and Pisces were among the slowest to reply. They’re not ignoring you. They’re drafting a heartfelt response in their notes app.
