Nobody likes being ghosted. But astrology can at least tell you what flavour of disappearing act you just survived, and whether the person is likely to reappear in six weeks with a “hey stranger.” (Some of them will. You know who you are.)
Aquarius: the vanishing scientist
Aquarius didn’t mean to ghost you. They just got absorbed in something else, decided the connection wasn’t quite right, and assumed you’d reached the same logical conclusion. No drama, no explanation, no hard feelings. That’s the problem.
Likelihood: very high. Comeback chance: they’ll send you a meme in a year like nothing happened.
Sagittarius: gone travelling (literally)
Sagittarius ghosts by moving on to the next adventure. One day you’re planning a weekend away, the next they’re in Lisbon and replying to your message with a thumbs up three days later.
Likelihood: high. Comeback chance: high, with souvenirs and zero apology.
Gemini: the slow fade
Gemini doesn’t vanish. Gemini fades. Replies get shorter, the jokes stop, the “haha” loses an “ha.” They hate confrontation more than they hate being the bad guy, so they let the conversation die of natural causes.

Pisces: drifted out to sea
Pisces ghosts when they’re overwhelmed, not when they’re over you. Life got heavy, your message felt like a demand, and replying became impossible. They feel guilty about it every single day.

Libra: too polite to say no
Libra would rather disappear than disappoint you. Saying “I’m not interested” feels cruel, so they say nothing, which they have convinced themselves is kinder.

Leo: waiting to be chased
Leo doesn’t ghost. Leo goes quiet to see if you’ll notice. If you text first, all is forgiven. If you don’t, they’ll be telling their friends you ghosted them.

Virgo: overthinking the reply
Virgo has a draft of the perfect reply. It’s been sitting there for four days. They want it to be right, and now it’s been so long that sending it feels worse than not.

Cancer, Capricorn and Taurus: the ones who actually tell you
The least likely ghosters, for different reasons. Cancer can’t stand hurting you without closure. Capricorn thinks disappearing is unprofessional. Taurus finds the whole drama exhausting and would rather just say it plainly over dinner. You’ll get a conversation, maybe an awkward one, but a real one.
Why they really went quiet
In a chart, ghosting has more to do with Mars (how someone handles conflict) and the Moon (how they cope with big feelings) than with the Sun sign. A Taurus with Mars in Gemini can fade like a pro. If someone’s disappearing act has you confused, their Mars sign is the first place to look.
