A study of the world’s richest people found one sign far ahead of the rest. Here’s the billionaire ranking, and what it says about money and the stars.

If you’ve ever wondered whether the stars decide who gets rich, someone actually counted. A study by UK lender Cashfloat looked at the birthdays of the top 300 people on the Forbes 2022 billionaires list, as reported by Fortune. The results were not what anyone expected.
Number one: Libra
Libra topped the list with 32 billionaires, about 12% of the group. It makes sense when you think about it: Libra is the sign of partnership, negotiation and charm. Business is mostly relationships, and nobody works a room like a Libra. According to the study, the richest Libra on the list was Walmart heiress Alice Walton.
Number two: Pisces
In second place, with 29 billionaires, was dreamy, creative Pisces, including LVMH’s Bernard Arnault, then the richest person in the world. Everyone calls Pisces head-in-the-clouds. Turns out the clouds were a vision board.
And the surprise at the bottom: Capricorn
Here’s the plot twist. Capricorn, the sign of ambition, discipline and climbing the ladder, came last, with just 15 billionaires. Maybe Capricorns are too busy being very comfortably successful to bother with a whole billion. Maybe they’re just too private to make the list.
What it really means
Fortune was quick to point out that astrology isn’t a science and this is a fun pattern, not a plan. Three hundred people is a small group, and money comes from a thousand things the stars don’t control. But as small talk goes, “statistically, Libras are rich” is excellent.
