Some months are a fresh start. October 2026 is a rewind with a plot twist.

Here’s the gossip. Venus, the planet of love, money and looking good, goes retrograde on October 3. Mercury, the planet of texting, talking and plans, joins her on October 24. That means for three weeks the two planets in charge of your love life and your group chat are both looking backwards. At the same time. In Scorpio, the sign that never forgets.

So yes: the ex is coming. The old crush is coming. The idea you abandoned in a notes app in 2018 is coming. Even your bank account wants to have a little chat about your past choices.

But hidden in the middle of all that chaos is one night, October 23, when the whole thing suddenly makes sense. Don’t sleep through it.

Week one, October 1–7: the past slides into your DMs

Venus turns retrograde on October 3, and someone or something from before suddenly feels very close again. You will think “why am I thinking about them?” at least once. That’s not random. That’s the month.

By October 6–7, Venus meets Mercury, and your heart and your mouth finally agree on something. Rare. Use it.

Do this: have the honest conversation you’ve been rehearsing in the shower. Say it once, kindly, and then stop talking.

Week two, October 8–14: the glow-up reset

The New Moon in Libra on October 10 is a clean page for every relationship in your life: lovers, friends, your mum, your hairdresser. Libra wants things fair, pretty and mutual.

Do this: name one thing you want more of from the people you love, and ask for it out loud. Then book something that makes you feel gorgeous. Libra insists.

Week three, October 15–22: villain era, but make it healthy

Pluto turns forward on October 15, and anything that felt stuck, controlled or out of your hands starts loosening. Power you gave away starts finding its way home.

Do this: take back one decision you let someone else make for you. Say “actually, no.” Watch nothing bad happen.

Week four, October 23–31: the plot twist

Scorpio season begins on October 23, and that same night Venus meets the Sun right in the middle of her retrograde. This is the lightbulb moment, the night you finally understand what this whole love-and-money storyline was really about. Write it down before morning makes it sound silly.

The next day, October 24, Mercury goes retrograde. Messages tangle, plans wobble and exes reappear like it’s their job. Every text gets a 24-hour cooling-off period this month. Your future self says thank you.

A moonlit doorway framed by roses and stars

Then on the night of October 25–26 comes the Hunter’s Moon, a Full Moon in Taurus. After weeks of overthinking, your body would like a turn. Clean sheets, a long bath, something delicious, an early night. Pleasure that costs nothing is the move.

Your power day this month

Every sign gets one day in October that’s quietly on your side. Read your Rising sign first if you know it, then your Sun.

The Hunter’s Moon lights up your money and self-worth. Your wallet has receipts. Notice where your cash goes when you’re bored, and cancel one thing you forgot you were paying for.

Taurus: October 26

Taurus, from Feya’s zodiac portrait series

The Full Moon is in your sign, which makes you the main character for a night. Wear the thing you’ve been saving. Yes, that one.

Gemini: October 10

Gemini, from Feya’s zodiac portrait series

The New Moon wants you to have fun again: flirting, dating, making things just because. Say yes to the plan you’d usually overthink for three business days.

Cancer: October 10

Cancer, from Feya’s zodiac portrait series

The New Moon lands right in home and family. Fix the thing at home that’s been annoying you for months. The wobbly drawer counts.

The New Moon resets your relationship with money and worth. Charge more, or at least stop apologizing for your prices. You’re not a coupon.

The New Moon is in your sign: happy personal new year. Begin the thing you keep saying you’ll begin “when things calm down.” They won’t. Start anyway.

Your season starts, and Venus meets the Sun in your sign the very same night. Main character energy is an understatement. Let yourself be seen exactly as you are.

The New Moon sweetens your friendships and social life. Accept the group invitation you’d normally dodge with a vague “maybe!”

The New Moon resets your career story. Pitch the idea, ask for the role, update the bio that still says 2023.

Aquarius: October 15

Aquarius, from Feya’s zodiac portrait series

Pluto turns forward in your sign. Power you gave away starts coming home. Say no to one thing that has drained you since spring, and enjoy how light you feel.

Pisces: October 6–7

Pisces, from Feya’s zodiac portrait series

Venus meets Mercury in the part of your chart that craves meaning. Have the deep, late-night conversation, the one that changes how you see something forever.

Halloween, but make it Scorpio season

A death’s-head moth, engraved

Halloween lands slap in the middle of Scorpio season, with Venus and Mercury both retrograde. Old traditions call this the night the veil between worlds is thinnest. This year the veil between you and your past is basically see-through too.

So dress as someone you used to be. Or someone you almost became. Light a candle for what you’re done carrying. And before midnight, write one line about who you’re becoming next.

One question to carry into November: What came back to me this month, and did I actually want it back?
