In the Golden Dawn system the Pages, called Princesses, rule no stretch of the calendar. Earth of Fire reads as fire at its most tangible and new: an enthusiasm just starting to touch the ground.
The deeper meaning
Pages are the students of each suit, the first person the element happens to. In Wands, the suit of fire, will and desire, the Page is the moment a spark lands in someone and they can’t leave it alone. It sits after the numbered cards, but it feels like beginning again: less the Ace’s raw force, more a person carrying that force for the first time.
In real life it’s the new interest that takes over your evenings. The class you signed up for on a whim. The trip you keep researching, the business idea you pitch to friends over dinner, the person you can’t stop mentioning. You don’t know yet if it will work. You aren’t really asking. You’re just lit up.
Enthusiasm doesn’t need to know the ending. That’s what makes it enthusiasm.

Our Page of Wands is mid-stride through a hillside meadow, cloak swinging, hair lifted by the wind. She isn’t looking at the staff she holds or at the path. Her face is turned up and away, lips parted, as if something just caught her attention over the next hill. That’s the Page: the moment before a plan, when there is only interest.
The staff is taller than she is and still putting out leaves, with a small flower near the top and a wine-red ribbon tied to it. The idea is alive, and it’s bigger than her experience so far. She carries it anyway.
The satchel slung across her body says she has packed for a day, not a lifetime. Enough to set out. That’s all the Page needs.
The dog at her side looks up at her, ready to follow wherever she goes next. Enthusiasm is contagious. It also needs someone paying attention to where it leads.
The lizard on the sunlit rock is a small cousin of the fire suit’s old salamander, the creature once said to live in flame. Here it’s quiet and watchful, like a first spark that hasn’t caught yet.
Above the hills, a thin crescent moon. Something at its beginning, with room to grow.
Love & relationships
In love the Page of Wands is flirtation, crushes and fresh excitement. It’s playful and sincere, and it doesn’t always know what it wants beyond the next conversation. That can be lovely. It can also be light.

A new crush, a spark with someone unexpected, or simply feeling curious and attractive again. Enjoy it. Let the excitement show you what you want, not only who.
